Since November 2007, Hui Ling Dean has been the Club’s Honorary Solicitor advising on all constitutional matters. Walsh Halligan Douglas Lawyers acts for insurance companies, government agencies, businesses and individuals in complex and simple matters. Hui Ling has been involved in Karting since 1991 in Singapore, Perth and now the Gold Coast Kart Club, having competed at national and international events here in Australia and overseas. Hui Ling has been an active member since 1999 and throughout the years competed in Junior International, Clubman Light, Intercontinental A and Rotax Light. Hui Ling’s father is also the Secretary of the Club. Hui Ling is also the only competitor who has won the Jim Riley Memorial Perpetual Trophy three times. She is the only female competitor in Australia who holds an A Grace Licence, which is endorsed for Formula A. Hui Ling is an Associate at Walsh Halligan Douglas in Commercial Litigation and holds degrees in Law (with honours) and International Business, and is also fluent in Mandarin. The Club has sought the advice of Walsh Halligan Douglas regarding the sale of the previous Kart Track at Coomera, amendments to the Constitution and locating and constructing a new world class circuit for its members.
