Race Meetings
Race Meetings are being held at Cooloola & Toowoomba during 2008. The dates are Cooloola 24th August & 19th October, Toowoomba 23rd November.

Race nomination fees
Seniors & Juniors $55 (this includes AKA Admin fee)
Midgets & Rookies $45 (this includes AKA Admin fee)
NB Special events may specify alternative race nomination fees

Complete your race nomination form and Pit crew insurance form before going to the race office with your forms and entry fee (EFTPOS is available), AKA licence and membership card. Your AKA licence will be stamped and you will be given a scrutineering form which you must complete and take with your kart and licence to the Scrutineering area located near the scales area.

Drivers Briefing
A drivers briefing is held at 8.45am on the grid and MUST be attended by all drivers and pit crew. At completion of the briefing all “P” plate drivers and those applying for licence upgrade must hand their licence to the Clerk of the Course. Anyone doing flags on the day must also present their licence to the C of C. You must complete a full meeting to the satisfaction of the C of C before he or she will sign the licence for you. DO NOT forget to pick up your signed licence at the end of the day.

Entry List
Entry lists are posted on the notice board in the pit area after drivers briefing. You should check your entry details are correct. If they are incorrect you should proceed to the race control office and inform the personnel there.

Licence Upgrade
Once you have completed 4 race meetings as a provisional driver, you must forward your AKA licence to the Qld State Secretary for your upgrade to a “C” grade.

Race Day Officials
The club is always looking to train members to officiate in roles on race day. There are many roles that need to be filled such as Starter, Grid Marshall, Scales Marshall, Flag Marshall, Lap Scorers etc. Should you be interested and able to assist in one of the roles please contact the Race Secretary Jo Yarwood on 0418730744 

NB: To qualify for Club Championship you MUST do a race day duty during the year.
