Gold Coast Kart Club Code of Conduct
Policy
The Gold Coast Kart Club Code of Conduct for members, guests and visitors to the clubs facility is as outlined in the current Australian Karting Association Manual in Chapter 5 “General Offences” 5.01 with penalties for breaches of these offences as per stewards suggested penalties outlined in the current AKA manual.
Procedure
Any person who is perceived or witnessed to be in breach of any of the General Offences / Code of Conduct will:
Notify Management Committee of breach of conduct in writing.
Implicated Person contacted, in writing by registered mail, by Management Committee & advised of breach of conduct, invitation to present their version of events.
Implicated person has 7 days to respond in writing or can request personal meeting with committee.
Time, date and location of meeting at discretion of Management Committee.
Notified in writing of penalty imposed / agreed to by Management Committee and invitation to appeal this decision within 14 days of receipt of letter.
If requested, appeal will be heard by a general meeting of the club time, date and location at discretion of Management Committee. |
